Shortly after 4:00 p.m. on August 9, a 20 year old man went to Akron Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot. He was then transported to Akron General Medical Center for treatment. Detectives learned he had been shot down near Grace Avenue and Copley Road around 0:30 that day, with another male West Akron.
