Church Gets Tricky With Annual Fundraiser

Over 100 Gift Baskets and Special Prizes will be raffled off at the Church of the Messiah 5th Annual Tricky Tray Fundraiser. Prizes include tickets to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in NYC, a Wii system with Wii Fit included, diamond earrings ($450 value), designer leather goods, two Shark Navigator vacuum cleaners, two tickets to the Giants/Raiders Game on Oct. 11 with parking pass, signed sports memorabilia (NY Giants football helmet and jersey, signed by multiple team members, signed sports memorabilia, two Nike hats signed by Lonny Wadkins, Golf Hall-of-Famer), gift certificates to area restaurants, and many more items for home and family.  

There is a $15 donation to participate, which includes 25 regular tickets, a chance in the door prize raffle, and dessert and beverages. There will also be hot foods and snacks available for purchase.

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the drawings begin at 7:15 p.m.

All proceeds help to continue the Church’s ministry and community outreach programs, which serve diverse populations, including, among others, regularly providing and serving meals at the county homeless shelter and local soup kitchen, donating food to the local food pantries.  We provide resources and a community center for seniors, English instruction for non-English speakers and formula, baby food, diapers and other supplies for needy mothers with infants.

The Church of the Messiah is located at 50 State Route 24 West (also known as County Route 513) in Chester, New Jersey. There is on-site parking and the hall is handicapped accessible.
